Scope: Project & Construction Direction

Project and Construction Management of the Greenfield extension project IRIS 2, Jakarta 02 (JKT02) comprising of a data Center of 3 floors each with 8MW capacity (Phases 4,5,6) for a total of 24MW, a Central Plant Utilities Building, a High Voltage Substation 150kV and 20kV and complete with Access and security facilities, Roads and walkways, and Fences and Gates.

The project comprises of greenfield site on which STT aim to build an extension to the existing Iris 1 Data Center in Delta Mas Industrial Estate in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. The project site includes the building of a Data Center with four IT Halls per floor total 8MW over three floors to a total capacity of 24MW. The project further includes a central Plant Utilities building, and is powered by a separate HV- High Voltage SS- Substation where transformers step down the HV incoming from 150kV to 20kV before it is distributed to MV- Medium Voltage and LV- Low Voltage for powering the data center.

The project is STT’s second greenfield data center build in Indonesia and the Data center tenancy is designed to Microsoft specifications and guidelines. A total of six similar facilities are planned to be built in the coming years on the site.

The scope of services for PM includes leading and managing all design, cost, construction management and contractors involved. Preparing and maintaining an integrated master project schedule and managing all interfaces for all contractors, vendors of direct procured equipment as well as estate utility connections and permitting. Site management requires setting up and managing of all administrative controls, reporting to STT and Microsoft and ensuring all Microsoft design and project and construction management requirements are met and improved upon after regular Microsoft audits.
